It occurred to me the other day that I have become a cross between Brittney Spears and Michael Jackson. No, I have not gone off the deep end over here - let me explain. First Brittney....all of my visits with BG are supervised (just like Brittney) and only an hour which is determined by someone else.
One day this week we got into the car and there was this strange woman in the front seat. No one introduced us or told us who she was so I just assumed the CHI rep was giving her aride. I later found out she was with the Department of Education and was going to the baby house to observe me. Look, I dont think I need the extra pressure of another person watching me with the baby. With Mama, the CHI rep, the interpreter and her that's 4 people watching me. I DONT NEED THE PRESSURE!!!! Luckily, BG was in a good mood and everything went well. The lady even said she looked like me.
BTW, BG is WACKO about my Mom. She just lights up when she see's her and smiles. Mama even had to hide a little today so BG would play. Mama say's she will like her even more once she gives her ice cream for breakfast...ah, it begins already.
Now the Michael Jackson connection - earlier this week they made us start to wear masks so the babies dont get sick. First I was using one of thier masks, which would not stay on. Now I have my own which makes my glasses fog up when I breath and I have this nasy habit of breathing. I'm sure BG thinks I'm some wierd person speaking a language she has never heard and now hiding my face.
Under the catagogy of "DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME" I have sucessfully made macaroni and cheese in an electric tea kettle. It was ingenuis I tell you. so I had to keep pressing the button because the kettle kept turning off once the water boiled. So the water bubbled out of the top. So I had to put everything in a big ziplock gap and squish it together. It was worth it! I was in heaven when i ate it out of my plactic cup. A little tase of home right here in Kaz.
Things are going well with BG. All of her blood tests were normal and yesterday she seemed to wantto climb into my lap. Today she was reaching up to hug my neck and was playing with my mouth and hair. Ah, but what about the mask your saying....shhhhh, lets keep that our secreat.
We dont go to the BH tomorrow but are going to the museum.
Now, about a name....what do you think of Kaylee Grace??? Yes Karen, I know you will continue to call her Katheryn.

Hey Cathy! I'm so glad I checked your blog when I got home from class today. You know how you think I laugh at everything you say, too much? Well today was one of those days so "thank you"!!! You're even funny in other countries!? If Cathryn Grace or Madison Grace (you could call her Maddie) only knew how blessed she will be to go home with you. Hey I think you should patent that macaroni & cheese in the tea kettle idea. That could be big! Can you dance like Brittney?????
Love from all the way across the world,
Karen
Hi I just found your blog. We are a waiting CHI family. We'll be traveling "soon" whatever that means. Anyway, I will continue to follow your blog, thank you for sharing. Congrats on hitting the baby Lotto! She sounds like a dream. Glad your mom is better! Suzanne

I really like the name Kaylee Grace; of course I'm kind of partial to Katheryn. Kathryn
